    This was a great find!

No hiding where we are today!
Sometimes you forget you have visited a place before. When we did our road trip last year, we saw the "lighthouse church" in Compeer, AB. Today when browsing photos I realized we originally visited it in 2014 but I had completely forgotten about it. It was in much rougher shape in 2021 than in 2014, the effects of a significant hailstorm being obvious with damage to the paint and windows.
I saw in a Facebook group that this grain elevator in Milden, Saskatchewan is in the process of being demolished / reclaimed. It seems every week there are fewer of the prairie icons for us to chase down and admire. This was my photo taken December 29, 2012.
